She started working in the entertainment field in 1988 after finishing a Drama Actor Training Course at the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC).
She became famous in the early 1990s when she played the main female role in “Women of Substance,” a 130-episode show that was SBC’s first international project.
Her long job in the industry has made her well-known in Singapore’s media world. She has been in many TV shows and movies.
Childhood and Schooling
Pan Lingling, who was born Phua Leng Leng on June 25, 1970, in Singapore, is 54 years old now. She is Chinese and has lived in Singapore her whole life.
Not much is known about Lingling’s parents or siblings because she has kept her early family life a secret. Lingling went to local schools in Singapore and then took acting classes to learn more about it.
In 1988, she finished the 8th Drama Artiste Training Course run by the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC). This helped her start her long and successful acting career.
She is of Chinese descent, and while there isn’t much information about her religious beliefs, it’s clear that she follows traditional family values.
Pan Lingling has been married to ex-actor Huang Shinan since 1996. They have two sons together: Beckham, who was born in 1999, and Kynaston, who was born in 2002.
Lingling has always put her family first and often keeps her personal life private from the public. She got a lot of attention when she said she didn’t let her kids join the entertainment industry. She wanted them to concentrate on their education first before thinking about careers in the public eye.
Although Beckham and Kynaston were interested in acting at first, they are now chasing jobs outside of the entertainment industry. Beckham is learning to be a pilot for the Singapore Air Force.
Lingling has openly supported her kids’ dreams, whether they want to fly planes or do other things. Her family had some tough times when she was told she had stage 1 breast cancer in 2013, but after getting treatment, Lingling has been free of cancer since 2014.
