The AMG Business record label is home to Ghanaian hip-hop artist Medikal (born 4 April 1993), whose real name is Samuel Adu Frimpong.
He is one of the hardworking rappers in Ghana because, through the adoption and repertoire of his tough Hip-Hop songs, he gradually gained the favor of many Ghanaians.
A committed fan base has previously backed the Ghanaian musician Medikal, who has also published a number of well-known songs, including Confirm, Forever My Love (with Bisa Kdei). On his most recent mixtape, B.A.R III: Lomi Era, Elom Adablah, the 2016 Ghanaian music artist of the year, also included him.
Medikal received the most nominations for the 2017 Ghana Music Awards, beating out other well-known artists including Sarkodie.
Medikal has made a reputation for himself in the music industry via tenacity and several collaborations with well-known singers. In 2018, IARA also recognized him as the top musician from Africa.
Early Life
On April 4, 1993, Medikal, whose real name is Samuel Adu Frimpong, was born. James Frimpong, the father, and Porshia Lamptey, the mother, are both from Ghana.
Medikal attended senior high school in Odorgonno. The younger sister of Medikal is Adwoa Frimpong.
He was trained by Mr. James Frimpong and Mrs. Porshia Lamptey in the Sowutuom neighborhood of Accra.
Career
Medikal started rapping on medical-related subjects while he was a young child. To stress his name when he first started rapping, he would describe the medical procedure while rapping about hospitals and how they operate.
He first decided on the rap stage name that his friends had proposed, and it eventually became his normal name.
The Grammy-winning rapper draws inspiration from performers like American rapper Lil Wayne, British rapper Skepta, Sarkodie, Paedae, and Criss Waddle, among others.
Medikal joined the Arab Money Gang Record Label (AMG), run by Criss Waddle.
On some of his biggest tracks, he has worked with musicians such as Bisa Kadie, Criss Waddle, Confirm Remix with Sarkodie, Connect, Sales, Heart Boy, and Medikal Bra Krom.
Medikal released The Plug, a 32-minute album with 10 tracks. The album features renowned Nigerian rapper Davido as well as top-tier Ghanaian performers including Joey B, Kofi Mole, and Efya.

The rapper’s perseverance started to pay off as he gained national and worldwide prominence.
With seven nominations, the rapper Medikal tied Sarkodie, a powerful underground rapper, for the most nominations at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.

Personal Life
Before finding the love of his life, Fella Makafui, Medikal had been lonely for a long.
Like any other relationship, the two have encountered their fair share of challenges.
When Medikal first started dating Sister Deborah, it was rumored that he dumped Fella Makafui.
Thanks to the anticipated u-turn that love always makes, Medikal and Fella Makafui were once more in each other’s arms. The couple was married on March 7, 2020, without delay.

Despite being relatively new to the industry, Medikal now has a staggering net worth of US$1.2 million because of his endorsements, royalties, and other benefits.
