Early Life
On February 29, 1996, in the commercial hub of Lagos, southwest Nigeria, Korede Bello was born.
In a family with three children, he is the second child.
He is a Yoruba-born Christian who was raised in southwest Nigeria.
He has a younger brother and the sweetest little sister, Jasmine Bello.
Jasmine Bello is a musician, just like her older brother Korede Bello.
Education
Korede Bello attended school in Lagos State, where he earned his West African Examination Council (WAEC) diploma, which allowed him to apply for the Mass Communication degree of his choice.
At the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, which is located in Ikeja, the capital of Nigeria’s Lagos State, he took the course (Mass Communication).
He earned a diploma certificate and successfully completed his studies.
Career
The earliest memory of Korede Bello’s passion of music comes when he was a young child. This led to his father deciding to start teaching him how to play the guitar, which piqued his curiosity in picking up additional instruments.
He developed into a gifted musician and started performing on stage. At the ripe age of thirteen, he competed in his first school competition against older children and did remarkably well.
He pushed himself to compete in other competitions both within and outside of school as he basked in the triumph of the competition.
Discovering he had a singing voice, he recorded his first single, “Forever,” which he published in 2013. The song was well received.
On February 24, 2014, Korede Bello signed a record deal with Mavin Records, which is run and controlled by renowned music producer Don Jazzy.
Di’ja, Tiwa Savage, D’Prince, Boy Spyce, Ladipoe, Magixx, Johnny Drille, Rekado Banks, Crayon, Rema, Ruger, Wande Coal, Ayra Starr, and numerous other well-known musicians were all discovered by Mavin Records, which is well-known for doing so.
A few months after agreeing to a contract with Mavin Records, Korede Bello shocked Africa with his top singles, Godwin, Mungo Park, and African Princess.
Since his arrival, the young man has worked with Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy, Dr. Sid, and other well-known artists to record successful singles.
