Early Life

Olukayode Adesanya, better known as Kida Kudz, is a Nigerian-born, UK-raised musical singer and songwriter. He was born in the Nigerian city of Ibadan, in the state of Oyo.

Kida Kudz, the exceptionally skilled entertainer, was born on January 27, 1995. He grew up in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria.

Kida Kudz earned a distinction in his diploma in Creative Media Production from Newham College in the United Kingdom. He studied music engineering and marketing before abandoning both to pursue his passion for music.

Kida Kudz’s musical style, which was frequently lead by xylophonic and bass-led musically, encapsulated fans in both Nigeria and other West African countries.

He is based in England, where he has lived for about ten years. When he was 14, he relocated to the United Kingdom to live with his father and stepmother. Kida Kudz became engrossed in already existing genres in the country, such as grime, UK rap, and even a bit of cheesy pop, noting inspiration from Giggs to N-Dubz.

Before moving to the UK, he collaborated with a few rappers in Lagos, including Mobo Award-winning MC Blakk Twang and others.

Kida Kudz shared the stage with famous music names in the UK. He shared the stage alongside Afrobeat sensation ‘Iyanya,’ World famous music icon ‘T-Pain,’ and many more.

He released ‘Ibeere,’ a street-oriented tune that has received a lot of attention in Nigeria. Olamide and this young artist performed “Beat It,” which was directed by Moe Musa, and his groovy rap song “Le Boo.”
In 2018, he remixed his song “Issa Vibe” with Burna Boy.

Kida Kudz is signed to Disturbing London Records, a musical company based in the United Kingdom.
