Olamide – Trumpet ft. CKay
Olamide – Trumpet ft. CKay

Following a lengthy break, Nigerian veteran rapper Olamide returns with an outstanding tune titled “Trumpet.”

Olamide is a Nigerian hip-hop performer with a large following on social media platforms throughout Africa. He is well-known for recording largely in Yoruba, his native language.

In Lagos, he received his primary and secondary schooling. He eventually went on to study Mass Communication at Tai Solarin University of Education.

Olamide made his music business debut in 2010 with the release of his first single, “Eni Duro“. The song was widely lauded by reviewers and catapulted him to fame. The following year, he was invited to perform at the Hip-Hop World Awards.

The well-known musician has a wife and three children. His firstborn daughter, Asaiah Monifé Maria, was born to him and Maria Okanrende, a prominent on-air personality. Despite the fact that they have a kid together, their relationship did not survive long.

The musician is currently married to Aisha Suleiman. The pair has been dating since 2014 and has two children, Batifeori Maximilliano Adedeji, born on January 30, 2016, and Tunrepin Myles Adebeji, born on July 1, 2019.

Olamide collaborates with CKay on his loverboys’ anthem, which depicts their feelings and enthusiasm for love.

Trumpet” is a strong anthem with a rough, uptempo instrumental that will have you bobbing your head. The song comes before Olamide‘s next album.

The production was credited to P.Priime and CKay. “Trumpet” is the follow-up to his Wande Cole-assisted song “Hate Me.”

Olamide has been sampling tracks from his next album on Instagram in recent weeks. The record has been tipped as his final.

Because of the plethora of talents rising from the streets, we’ve witnessed a lot of breakthroughs for most of the new musicians that join the market using freestyle videos to demonstrate what they’ve got in store for us.

Following previously released tracks, the well-enchanted song is the most recent entrance this year.

Quotable Lyrics:

La mi o
La mi o
La mi o
Ragaraga
Do you love me o?
Love me o
Love me o
Killi person
You soji o
Soji o
So mi so so
So mi o

I saw o
I saw the way you were looking at me ah
Ifunaya
Gyal come to my yard
I no go tire
Have you singing falsetto
Baby blow my trumpet
Pa ra ra ra ra
Pa ra ra ra ra

I’m hoping that the success of this album will help the Afro-classic crooner achieve greatness.
