Diamond Platnumz is a Tanzanian musician, singer, and songwriter whose real name is Nasibu Abdul Juma. He is one of the most successful and influential artists in East Africa, and his distinctive blend of Afropop, Bongo Flava, and contemporary African sounds has earned him international acclaim.
Diamond Platnumz was born in Tandale, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on October 2, 1989. He began his musical career in the early 2000s and rose to prominence with his hit track “Number One” in 2010. Since then, he has constantly dominated the Tanzanian and East African music scenes with multiple chart-topping hits and albums.
Diamond Platnumz’s ability to cooperate with both local and international artists is one of his most remarkable accomplishments.
