Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, one of South Africa’s top rappers and songwriters, was born on February 11, 1997.
He performs under the stage name Nasty C, which is his official name.
Despite being one of the younger musicians in South Africa, he has created top-charting singles and albums, making him one of the best.
Nasty C, a talented musical producer who is 26 years old, is connected to important record labels including Def Jam Records and Universal Music Africa.
In the films Blood and Water and Zulu Man in Japan, he also briefly dabbled in acting.
Early Life
Nasty C was born to South African parents in Soweto, Johannesburg, on February 11, 1997. David Junior Ngcobo, his birth name, was given to him.
At a young age, he suffered a huge loss when his mother passed away following a deadly vehicle accident. He had just turned eleven months old.
As a result, his father, Mr. David Maviyo Ngcobo, reared him alone. His father worked as a human resources manager for a company in Durban.
Alongside his older brother Siyabonga Ngcobo, Nasty C grew up. He attributes his brother’s musical influence and instruction in sound production to him. He began attempting rap songs at the age of just nine as a result.
Education
At prestigious schools in Durban, Nasty C completed his elementary and high studies. He attended Stretlitzia Secondary School, Lotus Park, for his high school studies.
He made the decision not to go to college after finishing his 12th grade education. He paid more attention to the music.
Career
Nasty Cs has been quietly writing a lot of rap songs since his high school days since he had a great desire to be a musician. L.A.M.E (Levitating Above My Enemies), his debut EP, was made available in 2014. At the moment, he was seventeen years old. The endeavor was successful for a young musician and demonstrated his immense potential.
On September 23, 2020, Nasty C’s debut album, Bad Hair, was made available. He already had thousands of devoted admirers and was a well-known figure in the South African music scene at this point. His fan base grew thanks to the album, which was a commercial success and brought him more performances. It became iTunes’ most streamed album in the first day after release.
2018 saw the release of Nasty C’s Strings and Bling, his sophomore album, and the start of his promotional tour, The Ivyson Tour. He was signed by Def Jam Records, an A-list music label, as part of his transition into the global music scene.
On August 28, 2020, he released Zulu Man With Some Power, his third studio album. His debut record with Def Jam Records was this one. There They Go is his first single under the label.
Nasty C has collaborated with well-known artists such T.I., Boity Thulo, Davido, Cassper Nyovest, Lil Keed, Lil Gotit, Shane Eagle, Runtown, Major Lazer, Emtee, Jidenna, French Montana, and Ice Prince since he started making music professionally in 2012.
Although he established his own record label, Tall Rack Records, he also secured a publishing agreement with Universal Music Africa in 2018.

Personal Life
Nasty C is 26 years old right now. In a brief cameo on the Netflix series Blood and Water, the Gen Z artist made his acting debut.
He portrayed Zhero in the television show. Additionally, he appeared in the independent film Zulu Man in Japan.
He co-wrote the protest song They Don’t with T.I, and the single’s sales benefitted charitable organizations. Nasty C, a rapper, is currently seeing a lovely young woman romantically. He has, however, kept the identity of his partner a secret because he prefers to keep his private life hidden from the public.
Sammie Heavens, Nasty C’s longtime sweetheart, is thought by many to still be his girlfriend.
He travels back and forth between New York, where he has luxurious properties, and Johannesburg. He also has a collection of exotic vehicles in his garage.
