Mercy Nnenda Chinwo-Uzochikwa, better known by her stage name Mercy Chinwo, was born on September 5, 1990, in Nigeria. She is also an actress and singer. She started singing in the church choir when she was eight years old.

On September 5, 1990, Mercy Nnenda Chinwo, now known as Mercy Chinwo, was born. Her stepfather is Jerry Eze, and she has a mother named Eno Jerry. Her father is unidentified.
About her father, she has not provided much information. She is, nevertheless, the first daughter and fourth child in total. The singer-songwriter from Nigeria was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers. Nigeria’s Rivers State is the place of origin for Mercy Chinwo.

She made her debut in 2015 with the song Testimony, then in 2016 she released Igwe. On February 20, 2018, Mercy Chinwo’s first studio album, The Cross: My Gaze, was made available.
The 16-track contemporary gospel album was released by EeZee Conceptz via Dixtrit Media. It featured guest appearances from Shady B, Fiokee, Chris Morgan, and Olaitan Odoko. Since then, she has continued to release inspiring worship songs.
Mercy Chinwo is one of the artists connected to EeZee Concept. The owner and manager of the company EeZee Concept is Mr. Ezekiel ThankGod Onyedikachukwu (Eezee Tee). It is a Christian record label doing God’s work on earth with a fire for a divine move for the end times.
Along with Mercy Chinwo, Tim Godfrey is in charge of several music ministers that effectively advance the gospel through their music, including Frank Edwards, Preye Odede, Hilda Dokubo, and others.
