Divine Ikubor, who is called Rema, is a Nigerian singer. He recently talked about the strangest rumor he has seen about himself on the internet.

The singer of “Calm Down” says that being called “a devil worshiper” was the strangest claim ever made about him.

Rema was on a recent episode of the ‘Kids Take Over’ podcast.

The host asked, “What’s the craziest and most untrue thing you’ve seen about yourself online. ”

Rema answered, “They say to worship the devil” [laughs]. It’s wild I didn’t reply to it because it’s not important. “It’s not worth the time. ”

The artist explained that the symbols he used in his art come from Edo culture and are not evil.

Rema talked about working with the famous Canadian singer Drake in 2020 on his song ‘Mention Me’, which got leaked.

“I’m really glad to work with someone as great as Drake. ” “I think we can create a great song if we take our time to build something strong,” he said.

In other news, ID Cabasa, a well-known Nigerian music producer, has responded to Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton’s negative comments about Afrobeats.

In August, Banton called Afrobeats a “shallow and unimportant music style. ” He said that even though it is popular around the world, it does not show the problems Africa faces.

Cabasa spoke to the media at the funeral of the late preacher Denis Joseph Slattery in Lagos on Thursday. He said that the Jamaican singer does not understand the words or style of Afrobeat music.

He said, “Buju Banton doesn’t get the music style. ” Can he talk like us. No

“When you’re online, Nigerians are the most sarcastic people you’ll find. ” If you don’t get our jokes and the way we share our stories, you might believe there’s no story at all.

“Now, these people explain the truth in an easy way. ” Since your generation (Banton) sang and talked about many things, you believe you understand more than they did.

“These people talk. ” You listen to Burna and BNXN, who we also call Buju. You enjoy listening to Olamide and Asake. Are you really going to say that Asake isn’t doing anything meaningful.

Just because you don’t understand something well doesn’t mean you should only criticize it. I think he really loves the music, which is why he said what he said.
